Under the Umbrella is the latest reincarnation of a coffeeshop at this location. Hopefully this one will work out for longer than the previous two. This spot was previously Mr. Lucky’s, and prior to that, A Flamingo and Two Chicks.
They have made some changes in decor and were refacing the front of the shop with a nice slate look when I visited. I’ll have to come back to post more. The new owner is a baker, so there are plenty of fresh, homemade treats on hand.
As can be seen on the map, there is not as much of a concentration fo coffee shops in this immediate area, so hopefully this one sticks around.
