Tenn Street Coffee has one of my favorite combinations… a coffeehouse and a bookstore. Hooked on Colfax (formerly Armazem) along with the coffee shops in the Tattered Cover locations are the other locations that come to mind who have the nice combo of books and coffee.

he inside is a nicely renovated old building with warm colors, good lighting, wood floors and plaster/exposed brick walls lined with bookshelves. There is a patio outside as well. They offer free WiFi and for thsoe who do not have a computer, there are terminals along one wall. WHile it is smaller than the Common Grounds in the Highlands, it has somewhat of the same feel to it. I am sure this is a spot I would go to a lot if I lived closer.
