Solid Grounds is a great coffee shop! They use Kaladi Brothers coffee, and have
a great selection of drinks. They also have a good size menu of soup, sandwiches
and smoothies. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the staff is very nice and
accommodating. They also have free wifi and are open late.

“Solid Grounds is located a little off Broadway on the east side, right at Panama. We serve Kaladi’s coffee, as well as some great teas, smoothies, ice cream and sandwiches. Come check us out.”

  1. I definitely have to go to this coffee shop because I like to drink coffee just as I like to Buy Viagra(almost because I have self-control he he). I will go there soon.

  2. This is totally my shop of choice, it's close to my house so you can find me there often. The baristas are awesome and if you go there often enough you're bound to become friends with one of them. It's awesome and I love it there, it's like home :)

O and along the lines of Starbucks…I refuse to ever go there, there are so many other places that blow them out of the water, it's insane.

Once I started going to Solid Grounds, I never wanted to go to Starbucks again. Very comfortable coffee shop and friendly staff. They host a new artist every few months and display their work.

The barristas at Solid grounds are top notch as far as pulling an espresso shot. They use Kaladi coffee and put hot water in your espresso cup first to warm it. In other words they are detailed and take their art seriously. You also feel very welcome and your business appreciated. A very nice place to enjoy a cup of Joe!

  5. I love Solid Grounds!! I am trying to get a job there becauase the staff there is that amazing! Totally better than Starbucks, a really diamond in the rough!

  6. Great food and desserts. I’m a former Starbucks employee and I have to say, this place blows every other coffee place out of the water! There is way more comfortable seating here than most places. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. They go out of your way to make sure you’re happy and comfy. They have $5 dollar meal deals that are an amazing value for breakfast lunch and dinner. The vegetarian burrito and asian chop salad are amazing!! There are a ton of other awesome things to choose from too. I go there at least twice a week. I bring family and friends and everybody loves it. The manager is awesome and the owners are really great too. And most importantly, the coffee is excellent. They have a manual bar, so the espresso is better, and the end result is exceptional. The baristas are well trained :) I hope this place sticks around and does very well!

I love this place! They have really good tomato soup. The patio is nice. It’s a little off Broadway, but really easy to get to with plenty of parking. They are very knowledgable about coffee and you can tell they take pride in the drinks they serve. Also, no pressure to give up a seat, stay as long as you want!

My wife and I went last weekend. The place is solid, great coffee (Kaladi bros) and great food! Also, a huge outside patio and very cozy inside with plenty of room.
The owners are the ones running the place, so Its sure to be the best quality in every drop.

  9. Have you ever tried Saffron?

  11. Has anyone been here? How is it? I looked in the phone book and they had a menu in their ad and it looked like they also focus heavily on food and smoothies in addition to coffee. Are they actually a coffeehouse?
